DeshiPro recently organized Introduction Day of MyCorps International Youth Volunteering Programme in Bangladesh, initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia in 2015. The programme is open to Malaysian youths from the age of 18 to 30 years old, which mainly focuses on volunteering and humanitarian based programmes that aim to produce valuable professional, knowledgeable youth with distinctive level of altruism.
20 young Malaysian volunteers, 6 boys & 14 girls came to Bangladesh for this program. They were divided into three teams; 7 in Dhaka, 7 in Satkhira and 6 in Cox Baazar. The volunteers will stay in Bangladesh for 2 months to participate in different voluntary activities across the country. They will closely work with organizations like Spreeha Bangladesh, APON Foundation, Multi Serve International.
Thus, on the 18th August 2017, Introduction Day to the volunteers had been conducted and coordinated by Mr. Tanzeev Haque, Founder and CEO of DeshiPro. The Introduction Day was held on Software Technology Park, Janata Tower, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Mr Idham, First Secretary of The High Commission of Malaysia & NGO partners MAHAR, Spreeha, MSI, Apon Foundation were cordially invited to attend and give brief sharing on the Introduction Day. In the end of the event all delegates and Malaysian visitors had a delicious lunch session with traditional Bengali food as the main course. Malaysian visitors really appreciated everything about the event organized by DeshiPro.
